Pre‑Treatment Care
Help minimize bruising and optimize your results by following these suggestions:
- Avoid alcohol, NSAIDs and blood‑thinning supplements for 48–72 hours prior to your appointment.
- Refrain from applying retinol, exfoliating acids or harsh scrubs to the treatment area for 2–3 days beforehand.
- Schedule your appointment at least two weeks before major events to ensure any swelling or redness has resolved.
- Arrive with a clean, makeup‑free face.
Post‑Treatment Care
During the first four hours after injections, take care to prevent the medication from migrating into unintended muscles:
- Avoid rubbing, massaging or pressing on the treated areas.
- Remain upright – do not lie flat – for at least four hours.
- Skip strenuous exercise, saunas or intense heat exposure.
- Avoid facials, hats or tight headwear that could apply pressure to the treatment zones.
It’s normal to experience mild redness or swelling at the injection sites. These effects typically resolve within hours. Results will gradually appear over the first 7–14 days; optional touch‑ups can be performed after two weeks if needed.
